On-call covers production incidents only. The rotation is weekly, hands over on Mondays at 10:00 UTC and is always staffed by two people.

  • โ€ขPrimary acknowledges within 10 minutes, mitigates first.
  • โ€ขSecondary joins if the incident lasts longer than 30 minutes.
  • โ€ขEvery page gets a post-incident note within 48 hours.

Compensation

Each on-call week adds a flat allowance plus one recovery day per real incident handled outside working hours.
